This group seems to have gone very quiet of late. We sometimes go from one month to the next without any contributions at all. Meanwhile there is a fairly active Haraki group on Facebook.
Do you think this group has run it's course and we should migrate to the Facebook group?
I'm aware that we have 99 members on here an there's a lot fewer on the Facebook Group but the Facebook group is a lot more active. Or maybe there's room for both?
I'd appreciate members' thoughts.
Bob.

Hi Bob!,
I think we should keep both groups going as some members may not like the idea of being on Facebook.
Regards David.

Hi Bob
There is a group already on Facebook started by Lorraine Headen. I know you've posted on there, but perhaps putting a link to the FB group and vice versa would help (no idea if this is possible). As David (Cornishdave) has said not everyone likes the idea of FB.

I think there is room for both, some people have reservations but I do use Facebook (intermittently) but notice the Haraki Group is a closed group, how do I go about joining (get invite)

Hi Doug,
The closed group thing is just a safeguard (basically so that people can be ejected if the moderator sees fit). If you just click on the join request Lorraine will welcome you as a member.
Bob.

Hi Bob,
Although I am not an active member I do value this site and like the others who have replied think both should be kept going at least for now. I am a sporadic facebook user too but enjoy this site more!
